I am a visual storyteller, videographer and award winning filmmaker based in Newcastle upon Tyne. I specialise in agile and bespoke video productions. I have produced short documentaries, music videos, drama, experimental, animation, dance, live art, commercial and event videos. My work has been exhibited in various festivals, cinemas, events and galleries in Finland, Austria, Serbia, Germany, USA, Belgium, Canada, Japan and the UK. In 2019, “Slab” short film won The Best Film Award and The Best Actress Award in 4 hour film challenge at Newcastle Improv Festival. In 2013, I was selected in the final six to go through Film Business Bootcamp – a training scheme for feature film producers – with Vita Nova Films and Digital City. The same year I was awarded a grant from Kone Foundation to develop an experimental short film in Newcastle. I’m a regular film programmer and AV technician at the Star and Shadow Cinema, a highly regarded art-house cinema in Newcastle, where I also host an open short film night Eyes Wide Open.
